About Periscope Library
About the Periscope Library
For over twenty years working alongside compliance leaders, I've come to understand just how demanding, complex and genuinely underappreciated compliance leadership roles are.
Most compliance training focuses on technical competence. Yet many of the challenges that determine success in compliance leadership have little to do with technical knowledge alone. Effective compliance leadership often depends on building influence, managing difficult conversations, navigating organisational politics and driving meaningful change.
The Periscope Library was created to help bridge that gap through practical frameworks, development tools and insights for established and aspiring compliance leaders.
What you'll find here
Within the library you'll find:
Practical frameworks for the harder, less discussed aspects of compliance leadership
Interactive diagnostic tools, training workbooks and worked examples
Insights drawn from years of experience and conversations with compliance leaders across regulated firms
Development programmes designed to help you increase your effectiveness and strategic impact
What you won't find is generic compliance content that can already be found elsewhere and endless commentary on the latest regulatory headline.
Introducing Ben
I entered the compliance profession in 2004 when I co-founded Compliancy Services, helping build it into one of the UK's leading independent compliance consultancies before selling my majority stake in 2021.
Today I work as a Chair, Non-Executive Director, Board adviser and founder of My Compliance Centre.
Outside work, I enjoy football, cricket, karate and looking after my llamas.
My Compliance Centre and Periscope Library
My Compliance Centre helps firms manage compliance obligations. The library helps compliance professionals develop their effectiveness and impact.
If you'd like to learn more about the platform, we're always happy to have that conversation. Until then, simply use the Periscope Library for what it is intended to be — a practical resource to support your development and success. I hope you find something useful here.
If you use any of the content elsewhere, please credit it appropriately. More importantly, please share your feedback. The library will continue to evolve and your comments help make it more valuable for everyone.
